About This Page

This page isn’t just a showcase of my professional journey—it’s also a demonstration of my technical skills and passion for creating efficient, scalable solutions.

Here’s how I built it:

  • Hosting and Domain: I’ve utilized Amazon S3 to host the site data, ensuring reliable and cost-effective static file delivery. The domain, registered with Cloudflare, is seamlessly connected to the S3 bucket using DNS records and an alias, enabling smooth content delivery to abhijaysharma.com.
  • Visitor Tracking: To add an interactive layer, I implemented visitor tracking (at the top of the page) using DynamoDB. Each time someone visits the site, the visitor count is updated dynamically.
  • Serverless Backend: An AWS Lambda function, triggered by API Gateway, handles the logic to increment the visitor count in DynamoDB. This setup is highly scalable and cost-efficient, aligning with modern serverless architecture principles.
  • Frontend Integration: JavaScript embedded in this page communicates with the API Gateway to trigger the Lambda function and update the count.

This project showcases my ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions leveraging cloud services. It reflects my hands-on experience with AWS, serverless computing, and frontend-backend integration to deliver functional, scalable, and well-architected systems.
